Individual psychotherapy or coaching sessions (50 minutes) are $230. My rates increase annually, and I will notify you in advance of any changes.
I accept payment via Zelle, ACH bank transfer, cash, or check.

I am considered "out of network" for all insurance plans and do not have contracts with any health insurance providers. However, I provide a monthly Superbill, which contains the necessary information for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement if your plan offers out-of-network mental health benefits.

Before scheduling your first appointment, I offer a free, brief (10-15 minute) phone consultation to ensure we're a good fit. Please note that email is not a secure form of communication and is only appropriate for administrative purposes like scheduling or logistical questions.

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. I’ll ask questions about your background, current challenges, and goals for therapy. This session allows us to build a foundation for our work together and helps me understand how I can best support you.

I offer both in-person and telehealth sessions, allowing you to choose what works best for you. In-person sessions take place at my office in Capitol Hill, D.C. Telehealth is available to adult clients located in Washington, D.C., and Maryland. We'll discuss your options during the consultation.

I specialize in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, navigating life transitions, exploring family-of-origin challenges, and coping with grief. I also work with leaders and managers who want to enhance their leadership with empathy and compassion.

If you are late to a session, we will still end at the scheduled time to respect other clients. I recommend trying to arrive or log in a few minutes early to ensure you get the full benefit of our session.

Consistent participation is essential for effective therapy. I have a 72-hour cancellation policy, meaning you will be charged for any appointments not canceled at least 72 hours in advance. Additional details about my practice policies can be found in my Informed Consent form.

I use a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform for all telehealth sessions to ensure your information remains private. I recommend that you choose a private, quiet space on your end for your sessions to maintain confidentiality.

Like other healthcare providers, I am required by law to protect the privacy and security of your health information under the Health Information Portability and Privacy Act of 1996 (HIPAA). This means I cannot share information about our therapy sessions with anyone without your consent, including family members, other providers, or employers. Exceptions include emergencies. My Informed Consent Form provides detailed information about how I maintain your privacy and confidentiality.

In compliance with the Federal No Surprises Act of 2022, I provide a Good Faith Estimate to clients who don’t have, or choose not to use, mental health benefits to offset the cost of therapy.
